[Dailydrool] Some hounds were just made to cuddle

I too caught a stupid cold over the weekend and called out of work sick
yesterday. I stayed in bed nearly all day, which meant Rupert was in total
doggy heaven! That boy could seriously be a professional snoozer.

Feeling the cold coming on Sunday evening, he went to bed early with me,
around 7:30PM. He stayed with me all night, which isn't all that unusual
but then he proceeded to sleep with me all day as well. He only left me to
do his business outside and to eat. We watched TV/slept all afternoon and
finally rose around 3:30PM to get the boys out for a walk before it rained.
As soon as we got home, Ru happily returned to bed, where he remained by my
side throughout the night. He slept through me leaving this morning, and as
far as I've heard, he has slept most of this afternoon as well.

None of this is all too surprising. He always sleeps a lot. But still, his
level of devotion never ceases to amaze me. He really is a great cuddler!

Meanwhile Cowboy was bored out of his mind, and couldn't understand how I
could stay home all day and only take him on one measly stupid walk around
the neighborhood. He periodically had howl-offs with himself, as Ru and I
tried to catch up on our zzz's.
