​I doubt seriously that the clinic staff lied to you about Dottie.
I think they did the best they could with the information they were able to
gather.

By all means see your own Vet and have him do an xray or ultrasound to rule
out Bladder stones. They can get quite large without you even being aware
that they exist.

He can also check the bladder for a "mass" at that time. Don't assume that
because she has no fever there is not a problem. Stones are very common.
