[Dailydrool] Geesh Shelter Challenge

Geesh the Shelter Challenge is just not working out for us lately. 
I think I missed the post whether or not Alabama won anything. I think they
won the magazines since last I saw they were in second place. 
I do not know why all of a sudden this year no one is winning the past
several years everyone we voted for won and now this past year no one has
won first place that I can recall. 
Are there less Droolers out there? Have we lost too many to Facebook?
I post about the Challenge on Facebook too but just do not understand why no
one is winning first. We used to have over 3000 readers but have no idea now
how many still get the digest.
The prize is not the greatest it is  $500.00 instead of $1000.00 it used to
be but heh $500.00 is no kick in the pants it pays a lot of bills. But all
our Bassets rescues are getting the past two times is magazines. That is
sad!!!! 
Do we want to try again? If so the next rescue on the list (and this may
change if they are not registered)  is Loozianna Basset Rescue is that okay
with everyone?
Maybe we are losing interest? Ideas are welcome.
