Leonard has quite bad hip dysplasia, and we went the entire xray is there
anything they can do route when he was a pupster (there are some surgery's
they can do very early on) I'm with Bev there are so many things it could
be, and 1-1/2 is past the age for the surgery they can do young..personally
I would skip the xrays if for no other reason than they really hurt (true
hip xrays from a specialist) cause really at this point what difference
does it make. The super surgeon that said Leonard had it and didn't
qualify for the surgery while they are young situation says..you don't
operate till you have to and frankly you often don't have to~~Give your
baby joint supplements and make sure to rest when she overdoes~~and watch
what you are touching when she cry's while sleeping and see if she cry's
when you touch the same places when she isn't sleeping~~and the kind of
xrays that she may or may not need are not anything you could get at your
regular vet you would be wasting your money in my opinion~~if you want to
be sure find an orthopedics specialist in your area and have an exam done.
I would never ever ever let a reg vet operate on my bassets bones/joints.
