[Dailydrool] waterproofing sweaters

Hello;
Someone made a comment about wondering how to waterproof a sweater. 
I use Scotchguard to waterproof many things: coats, boots, tennis shoes, sweaters. It makes the item look newer longer and it is effective in getting water to bead up on the clothing or simply fall off.  Many stores have their own brand of it and that helps the pricetag. 
I have not used it on a crotched sweater, you might want to test a spot first.
