You are given a secret partner's name and a little information about them (how many hounds, hound names, other pets, address, etc.). Once you have your partner's name, you do a little research about them, either by going through the Archives or googling things about where they live, etc. Then a guessing game follows. Each participant posts clues every day or so as to the identity of the person who is their secret pawtner, and the pawtner tries to guess from the clues who is posting about them. clues can be easy or hard. For example, I live in Kona, Hawaii, which is famous for its coffee. One year a partner posted a clue for me "Do you drink coffee?" That sort of thing. it is fun to read all the clues and then to figure out who has whose names. I find it a way to better get to know droolers who don't post often but do play secret pawtner. some droolers post clues in rhymes. Others post anagrams. It really is fun.
