[Dailydrool] Mosquito Spray

Hi Marlene (& everyone else on the Drool!)

I have been reading the Drool for years but have never posted; I consider all of you expert Basset Hound parents and have learned a great deal from the Drool! I have a 10+ year old Basset Hound mix (dominant Basset!), Zoey.  The mosquitoes are horrible here in the Boston area, too!  I found a great spray on Amazon - "Stop Bugging Me". It is an all natural spray made for dogs. It works for fleas, ticks, and all biting insects. I sprayed in on myself before I used it on Zoey.  It definitely helps.  I also found an all natural product to use on the lawn - "Mosquito Magician".  It does not eliminate the mosquitos 100%, but it makes a big difference.  It is sold on Amazon and the company also has a great website with information about the product.  My husband has sprayed the lawn twice since we got it just over a week ago (he sprays after he mows the grass) and it has helped.  We no longer get swarmed!  The first time he sprayed we got thunderstorms just a
 few hours later which most likely washed most of it away. It has a very strong garlic smell, but it only lasts about an hour or so once it's sprayed.

 found my Hannah up on my end table again this morning, with
 the TV remote  
 in her mouth, I swear she can FLY ! we will be glad when we
 can spend some 
 time  outside, but right now the mosquitoes are
 HORRIBLE !!!! does any one 
 have any  suggestions on what I can use on my dogs for
 mosquitoes

 Hi all, Snoopy here,
 You heard it here first, I saw it all ...... momPerson was
 late coming home and dinner was getting ready and I was
 running up and down the hall squeaking my indestructable
 squeaker (which I will kill eventually, it's not my first
 indestructable squeaker and it won't be my last) and LuLu
 started running with me because ever since Gracie hurt
 herself (in the moment that I landed on top of her in a
 tackle as she made off with a bag full of ears of corn on
 the 4th of July) she hurt herself and she has not played
 since. ?Not even once. ?Gracie has gone on walks and she has
 jumped up a couple of times but she has not played. ?No
 wrestling, no romping, no leaping and twisting, nope,
 nothing of the sort ...... until tonight.
 tonight little Gracie came charging down the hall and rammed
 into LuLu head first like a bull and twisted around and
 leapt in the air and tackled LuLu and they wrapped up and
 rolled across the floor and jumped up and twisted and turned
 and pounced and jumped and ...... yeah. ?Gracie played.
 We're going for a walk now but before we left I had to tell
 the whole drool. ?Gracie played. ?I thought you'd want to
 know.
