[Dailydrool] Feeding Llewis

​A large number of us have had Hounds who at some stage of their lives have
required imaginative cuisine. Llewis is eating a little better for the time
being and maybe this is exclusive to him but I thought I would mention what
seems to be important issues to Llewis about eating:

Texture: Llewis does not want anything that is clumpy. This automatically
excludes all dry dog foods, most canned dog foods. It means he will eat
smoothly textured things like Cesar pate dog food,
pate cat foods (yeah I know, but come on) Liver sausage, chickie liver and
beef liver (both cooked, thank you.)

Amount:
Tiny infinitesimal amounts. I use an iced-tea spoon to measure it out one
dribble at a time. When he starts turning his head away or looking around I
stop. I try to quit just before he spits it out.

How:
Llewis likes to have me hand him the food on my fingers. This is very time
consuming but you know, all I have is time. I spoon a tiny amount out and
put it on my finger and offer it.
