[Dailydrool] dementia

​It sounds as if he wakes up and doesn't know where he is and panics. Once
a dog is in a panic state, not much gets through.
Do you leave a light on for him? If not, I certainly would, so that he can
see where he is easily.
There is also a drug specifically for doggie dementia and I would try that
rather than the Valium. Valium is short acting and doesn't always have the
desired effect. In a minute my brain will work and I can tell you what the
dementia drug is.... Anipryl. Ask your Vet about it.
