[Dailydrool] Thanks and keep it coming

Thanks for the thoughts and drool so far. Please keep it coming, as Cowboy
is still not out of the woods.

The vet called yesterday afternoon and said that xrays were negative for
any obstruction with Cowboy but that his bowels were irritated and they
found blood when performing a rectal exam. They asked to keep him
overnight, which was utterly heartbreaking for us, but we know he is in
good hands.

When I called this morning to check in, they said he was alert but had not
eaten. They want to see him eat and poop. So far, he hasn't done either. He
did throw up again last night, but they said it was a tiny amount. Now they
are saying he will most likely need to stay another night since it's almost
3pm and he still hasn't eaten or pooped.

We are getting more worried by the minute. Please continue the drool and
good thoughts. It's hard enough for me living 250 miles away from the
hounds when they're healthy - but being this far away and knowing they are
sick just kills me.

Rupert on the other paw, seems to be on the mend. He is refusing to eat his
R/D rx food but is eating his regular kibble again and is pooping. Soft
stools, but not too soft. And at this point, we are just happy to see one
of the hounds pooping.
