It’s gross! Really gross when they zero in to kiss you after having feasted on some delicapoopy. Even worse when they decide to return it on your floor! But other than gross, and the potential to pick up worms that the original owner may have had, there’s no harm in it. You can try to stay ahead of them, by picking up faster than they can. Good Luck with that! If you have a connoisseur who only goes after the home turf turds, then you don’t have anything to worry about. If you have one that isn’t picky at all about whose deposits he will accept- then become regular about worming them. You can get wormer at any farm supply or pet store, or from your vet of course.
There are a million products or suggestions of food additives out there that say they will stop a poop eater. Not really. You might get lucky- but for the most part save your money and buy that pretty smelling hand soap instead.
