[Dailydrool] Rolph's gotcha day

Nine years ago today I went to a shelter to get an elderly greyhound and came home with a two-year-old basset hound. Best mistake I ever made. 
He has always been a challenge but has always given me a wealth of stories and anecdotes, like when he destroyed my brother's "indestructible" phone, stole the Christmas turkey and jumped into a police car, but he has also been the most loving, intelligent and engaging dog I have ever known.
