[Dailydrool] urinary tract infections in Bassets

I give my girls a daily dose of "Cranberry D-Mannose" and it has stopped the
frequency of UTIs.

I get mine through Chewy.com

I am writing on behalf of a friend of mine who has a senior female Basset
who has been suffering with repeated bouts of a bladder or urinary tract
infection.  The Vet. has prescribed dose upon dose of antibiotics but the
issue continues.  Any of you Basset owners have any ideas that might help.
Also concerned that antibiotics in large doses can be hard on dogs. Would
appreciate any advice.
