[Dailydrool] Secret Pawtner - Just do it!

If you've never participated in Secret Pawtner, I highly encourage you to
do so. It is like secret santa but so much better because it revolves
around all things basset hound!

All that it entails is putting together a little basset-themed gift with
some treats and sending it to your assigned partner. In return, you not
only get your own basset themed gift, and treats for your hound(s), but you
get to connect with a fellow drooler who you may or may not know, and you
potentially make a friend for life. It's one of the highlights of the year
for me, and in today's world, we would probably all benefit from a new
friendship and a little basset hound joy.

You can go all out, sending clues for the person to guess; or you can do no
clues and just be pleasantly surprised with a fun package in August, but no
matter what I promise you won't regret joining the fun.

Deadline to enroll is July 23.
Partners will be assigned by July 26.
Packages must be mailed by 8/10.  (which just happens to be our calendar
day and Cowboy's 10th birthday!)

And as a plus, it's a great excuse to shop through basset hound rescue and
help a homeless hound in the process of treating yourself to some summer
fun!
