[Dailydrool] Lots happening here

Heys all droolers its Annabelle heres and lets me first send out healing drool to those that needs it. I's writing to lets yous know my evil Mama took me to that fancy eyes doctor at the specialty hospital in our area. They shine bright lights in mes eye to look inside. The only good part was they gave me treats after each test. A young guy checks me out first and this nice lady held my head. Mama was nexts to me so I do that great game of slinky body. I's sure all Bassets do it but it where I slowly extend my butt out and let my body slides wif it backwards. Befores they know it I's at end of table and guy is having to chase me down. Of course they slids me back up but I scores treats. Now whens the older lady come check me shes has no treats but nice lady helps me out. They say my hazy eye is corneal degeneration and is a natural process (if theys says so). Bad part is Mama has put this gunk in mes eyes buts its not to bad. One gunk happens two times day and the other is three. I's go back in a month to be rechecked so more treats for mes. Theys hope to stop one of the gunk stuff at end of month. Guess I can manage.
After mes eyes gets worked on Mama sent mes to vet to have mes teeth cleaned. Like that was something I really wanted but it turns out I's had lose toother thats comes out when theys cleans mes teeth. Brudder Harley really needs some healing drool. Hes gets sick today and has Mama alls worried. Apparently silly brudder has been pooping liquid for few days and now its liquid blood poop. Mama tooks him to vet and theys dropped the big C word. Mama lets them draw labs on him but hes still not eating today and just few minutes ago vomits lots blood again. Hes did this few years ago and had spend night at that specialty hospital in our area but hes comes back better. Hopes this passes soon. Poors guys has been picky eater for past month and is rathers skinny. He worries the Mama and wes no like her upset.
I's outta here but Mama going talk now. Drool away.
Yeah Annabelle went to the VA Tech Vet School to see the ophthalmologist who said she has corneal degeneration. The main goal right now is to reduce the edema on the corneal and we are going that with cyclosporine and 5% sodium chloride ointment. Her recheck is in a month and we hope to be able to stop the cyclosporine then but the sodium chloride is for life. Which is not bad. Cassie is doing well, the only one that is. Harley I hope is just having a gastrointestinal flare up that will pass. I know the vet is worried about his weight but he has never kept a steady weight. He is 12.5 and I'm not ready to let go of my best friend yet.
