Hi Bev : ),

Thanks for writing back and helping me not feel like the world's worst mom 
for Sal's "stick eating" (LOL). When discussing this with Sal's vet, he 
says, "dogs are scavengers" in a nutshell he doesn't get too upset by it. 
Just trying to prevent any unnecessary tummy surgeries and pain for Sal : ).

The vigilance will continue, and stick removal will be stepped up, hugs to 
your bassets, and thanks again :),
