Listen to Kathi. I looked at Davis' Southern Bassets. I do like that they take back their babies. It is not good that they take zero responsibility for sick puppies and DISGUSTING that they would consider letting a baby go from his or her mom at 6 weeks. Really good breeders say 12. Bad breeders go for 8. This is despicable. Harkens back to the days of Roy's bassets. I still remember seeing a 6 week old baby that some moron brought to a Carolina Waddle. Proudly saying it came from Roys. It does not seem odd that these folks are less than two hours from where Roy conducted his business. 

Avoid these monsters. Please, look for a reputable breeder. BHCA bred would be nice, but at least a responsible one......or consider adopting a basset from a local rescue. There are so many who needs homes.
