[Dailydrool] A matter of curiosity

Kathy mentioned that a "respectable" breeder would not sell a basset for $600, which piqued my curiosity. We have ever only had rescues. How much do well bred bassets cost? I suspect this varies by region of the country and supply and demand, but I'm curious. I seem to recall that breeders sell "pet quality" and "show quality" puppies as well, so there may be a range of prices. But I am curious. Val vlbzwick at yahoo.com
