[Dailydrool] Priorities

My husband and I are creatures of habit. After Bill comes home from work at night, we have dinner, then move to the living room to either watch TV news, etc., or read. Bill takes an after dinner snack with him which he places on the side table next to his chair.  At about 7:30 to 8:OO pm ( if he is home early) or an hour later if he is home later, we take the dogs out for their evening walk, which is the highlight of the dogs' day--for the most part. 

Certainly Ipo and Mila dance with joy around our feet at the prospect. Mariah the Maraudah also--but then surreptitiously Mariah always disappears before she is leashed while we are leashing the other two.  Where is Mariah?  She has returned to the living room, jumped up on Bill's chair, and is finishing whatever remains of Bill's snack on the side table before she sashays up to be leashed.  Priorities.
