[Dailydrool] Sophie and Is it Time?

Vikki, I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to your dear Sophie. I think you showed your great love for her by savoring every day you still had with her. That must have been such a comfort to her, to have you so close at all times. Our Bridge dogs will be with us always. 

I've been following the discussion about Is it Time? That's the most difficult a question we dog parents will ever have to ask. The answers here have been wonderful. I loved what Beth H. said about listening to your furbaby and your heart. The first time we have to make this decision is terrifying, though. I wish I'd had the wisdom of the Droolers to guide me through back then. But it's true, somehow your dog lets you know and gives you permission to make that decision when the time comes.
