[Dailydrool] Conley Updates

‎That's wonderful news...and an important lesson in caring for our hounds.

I was particularly struck by the sentence, "Your family Veterinarian may not‎ really be qualified to read an ultrasound."

Just as we seek out a specialist for our own medical issues when they are beyond the scope of our family practitioner, so too should we seek out specialists when our hounds are facing complex medical problems. And a good vet will not feel threatened by having you seek out expert help. (In fact, a good vet will support getting that second opinion.)

‎As with Conley, sometimes that expert opinion will bring good news. And even when the news is not so good, you'll have greater understanding and confidence in facing the decisions on care.
