Dear Merta Lou,
  This is Mariah. Here is a tip for you. When you steal stuff, very quietly sneak outside into your yard, and if possible under your house, before you chew it up. That way the humans don't find it until later and they tend to believe that nonsense the dog experts always say about us not connecting bad acts with bad consequences unless they occur together (they catch you in the act), so this way you get off Scott free. ha ha ha ha ha.
