[Dailydrool] some condolences and some chat, a little long

Donna,  I hope your heart is healing with your loss of Sunny.  You saved
her, but you did not have her with you as long as you expected.  At least
you were by her side when she most needed you, and for that, you should
find comfort.

Dale, although I do not know you well, I know you loved your bassets a lot,
and I remember your Mom was an advocate of Labs.  You wrote much about
Lulu, and having gone through a diagnosis of lymphoma with my sister's
hound, who lived with me, she chose chemo for him.  I am glad for you that
you did not chose chemo for Lulu, and find comfort that you cared for her
with all your being.

My Nigel is 14 plus.  He is my Cat hound,  nine lives and counting.  Today
he is stable, and everyday is one day at a time.

Little Nikki will be 11 soon, and she has liver disease and a lot of other
minimal and pain controlled stuff.

I so miss having a herd of eight, but I have the memories.

I especially miss Pierre jr., and he will be forever bonded to me in memory
because he came to me when Mom was most ill, and he journeyed to facilities
to visit her.  He made the horrible time of her decline bearable.  And he
was a fun dog to me, lots of adventure.

Finally, sending prayers to Las Vegas.  Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.
