[Dailydrool] Joining the Drool

I don't remember just when we joined the Drool, but we moved into my dad's
home to care for him when he was ill, in 1997. Maybe in 1998 we got him our
first basset,Lady Jane (who really was no lady!), to give him something
good to focus on. Perhaps a year later I found the Drool and discovered
that I was not the awful dog owner I thought I was. There were others who
struggled with that stubborn basset personality! I ended up on a steep
learning curve.

>From there we went on to fostering and being involved in rescue, and the
Drool has been there through it all with advice and support.

I have been so glad to have the Drool with me all these years. Thanks to
all of you who have advised and encouraged me.
