[Dailydrool] Little Nikki is not well

We spent several hours at the specialist hospital today with an internal
specialist Vet. That poor dog was poked, prodded, tested upside down and
all around. And she didn't get to eat before hand!!!! Quoting this vet
"the prognosis is not good". No one knows what will be, and more test
results are forthcoming, but this poor girl has masses on her liver and
spleen, and a dangerous mass on her right adrenal gland. My investigation
began because her third eye lid prolapsed last month. I thought unrelated,
she was dripping blood, at the time, I could not determine from where, and
it was minor and stopped within 24 hours. Two weeks later, she had her
semi annual senior exam, and all was good, except her liver enzymes are
still high, and Doc suggested vitamin E added to her many medicines. Fast
forward to today, Little Nikki's blood drops were becoming puddles, and I
figured out they were from her nose (can you say crime scene in my house).
This lead me to my primary vet office which led me to the specialist
office. My plan is to not be invasive. I will do the best I can to keep
her comfortable. No more liver meds. Of course pain meds will continue.
Her High blood pressure meds need to be compounded, and that will take a
few days, from Wedgewood (I know a few of you know that place, and I used
them for Jellybean in the past). Life's journey.
