Droolers,
I have a question for anyone out there that has ever had this problem. I
have an 11 year old basset that has and E.coli infection in a kidney. The
vet was using a pulse plan with antibiotics two weeks on three weeks off.
But he retired and the new vet tried some pills in the hope of getting rid
of the bacteria, but the latest results came back with the bacteria
resistant to most antibiotics. She is trying to get hold of an internist to
see what options we have.
I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and what treatments you
