The Red Bay Gang is drooling furiously for Morse
. And since it is
unbearably hot here they are producing copious amounts of drool.

Over the 50 years of bassets I have had, several have had tumors of the
spleen and many of had VERY successful spleen removals. My current
spleen-less dog is Chrissie who had her spleen removed at age 10
 she is
now 12 ½ and doing well. There is a wonderful (and inexpensive) Chinese
herbal that helps with the “leaking of blood” from splenic tumors. This
herb saved Chrissie’s life because I administered it immediately upon my
suspicion of a spleen issue. When we got her into surgery 8 hours later,
her spleen had actually ruptured but was not bleeding out. The ruptured
tumor had clotted!! The vet was ASTOUNDED
never in 45 years of practice
had he seen a dog survive a ruptured spleen. He now has this Chinese herb
in his office pharmacty. The herb is call Yunnan Baiyou and can be
purchased online at www.yunnanbaiyou.com <http://www.yunnanbaiyou.com> It
should be part of everyone’s first aid kit. It works on humans and canines
as an emergency (or long term) treatment for bleeding tumors. It can be
taken internally, applied topically and even put into solution for sub-q
injections if necessary.

If Morse is able to tolerate the surgery, I would certainly give it a
chance. I had a 13 years old (Grady) who had his spleen removed and lived
another two years.
