[Dailydrool] Warts

Hi all,

 

This is a new one for me, although I've had bassets for decades.  Tallulah,
at 10 months, has a wart in her mouth.  It doesn't seem to bother her, but
the vet said it's contagious (?) and that she probably picked it up at puppy
playtime.  He's recommending an antibiotic, but if it's a virus, how will
that help?

 

If anyone has experiences to share, I'd appreciate your collective wisdom.
