[Dailydrool] Pills, Blanca

I had to laugh over the pills because it brought back fond memories of our
queen, Jersey. Within a couple of days of coming to us, Jersey developed
kennel cough that morphed into some horrible upper respiratory bacterial
infection. The poor girl sounded like someone had shoved a garden hose up
her nose. We honestly thought we were going to lose her. We took her to our
wonderful vet who decided she needed to be on some heavy duty antibiotics
and gave her one while we were there. That's when we found out Jersey would
bite! Thank goodness he was fast or she would have snapped off a couple
fingers! Her bassitude earned her a flag on her chart that indicated she
needed to be muzzled "just in case". Over the years, she became a favorite
of everyone at that office, made friends with everyone and loved everyone
there. Our vet cried right along with us when it was time for her to go on
to her next great adventure.

Oh Doug! You have a queen at your house! Blanca sounds like my kind of girl
and I'm sure she will win your wife over in time. I originally said Jersey
would NOT be allowed on the furniture or in our bed. Well, that lasted
about five minutes. These hounds seem to weasel their way into places that
we swore they wouldn't be allowed in and doing things that we said never
ever. Blanca is a beauty queen and knows it. You guys might as well give in
now because she will ultimately get her own way and make her own rules.

Get well and heart healing drool is being sent to all in need.
