[Dailydrool] Our Morning From.......

Merta Lou Intrepid Lady Basset ever Polite Too Nice to Bite, but...... one
of these....days.....

First thing almost. I mean we got breakfast but it was dinky.
Into the car. ONO.
NoNoNo I dontwannago. I know what she is up to I do even if Doc says it's
ok it is I promise and goes bounding into his crate in the Van. Not me. No
thankyew. I shall remain all four on the ground you cannot AWWWWWWK
I guess she can. It wasn't pretty but she got me in the crate. I do not
have a window seat. Doc has a window seat from his crate but he hates
traveling and so he hides his head. We are very brave.

So we go and go and go and go like forever and I am just starting to be
hopeful that it is a joke when we stop and she leaves the Van and then
comes back and opens the back: MY door, not HIS, and I stop and won't jump
down. I back up. I am not getting out I am not NOT NOTNOTAWWWWWWK
Well. I don't have to hurry, tho. So I stay behiney her go reel slow but
that doesn't work anyway and then we are in and it is as I feared: I smell
the Veterinarians, the Medicines, the SHOTS I can smell the shots and there
are like a hundred million dogs in the lobby yelling HELP ME HELP ME
except for the two or three yelling Hiya Babydoll, come see me over
here...." And then some stranger comes and gets down on the floor trying to
make friends. The idea. As if. Not a chance, honeybun. Get a real job.
So SHe says naw that's ok I will take her back.  Well thank the dog gods
because they would have had to drag me across the lobby...
And then the MOST embarrassing-- a whole big finger up my.....and the
smell!! Delightful doggy smell so special I had saved it for weeks, you
know? And they TOOK IT! They just reached inside my....and they TOOK IT.
And then I got to leave.
I dont know what they did to Doc. Heaven only knows. He came back REAL
quiet. And we went home. And I am never speaking to her aga--is that
dinner? Oooo what's for dinner? CHICKIE???O wait for me wait for me!!!
