We are going away next week for 5 days for a family vacation to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.  I was in the middle of writing up Guinness’s care needs for our dog sitter and looked up and there was Guinness walking.  Still dragging one foot a bit, but upright and walking.  Two weeks ago, he could not pee, could not feel his legs, would not eat and the vet gave us the hard talk.  We brought him home, used a catheter and about 3 days later, he peed on his own.  Then he started to eat.  When we took him to our vet she suggested we get him some wheels.  We made an appointment with Eddie’s wheels for next week.  Today, he walked on his own, a few feet!  (And then peed on the rug!).
