Hi everyone, Hettie in the UK here
The Woman has told me to send drool, so I have been shaking my head and sending it as far as I can.
I have been in this house for about three weeks now and it's going quite well. I get taken for long walks, playdates with other bassets and everywhere I go people gather around me and say how beautiful and lovely I am. The woman has lost count of the number of people who have offered me a home, but she says I have to wait and have an operation to stop me having puppies before I can be re-homed.
Now, lots of people have also asked The Woman if she is going to keep me and she says "maybe" and "I am tempted". So, here are my very important questions:
If she keeps me, will it be for more than a few months?
Will she continue to take me on walks, playdates and adventures after a few more weeks, or will she begin to leave me home alone for hours and tell me off if I can't hold in the piddle?
And most importantly, what do I need to do to get her to keep me and love me forever?
All advice will be much appreciated
