(I am posting this for Nancy as she is having difficulty posting like so many of us are these days. It is an issue with the server.)

I know not many left on the list knew our Meatball, but he was predecessor to Scooter Pie and Caruso before him. We had to say goodbye to him on Monday. He was a wild boy from the time he was adopted at age 1 to the time just a week before he left us at almost 13. Although he had slowed down a little at 12, it was to ‘normal’ basset level and we had just thought it was because he was entering his senior years. We never thought he was in kidney failure until he was diagnosed when he stopped eating :(. I always thought he was a jack Russell in basset clothing. The house is so quiet without him - he was a sweet boy and I always said, not always good, but never dull! We will miss him dearly.
