<div>As a side note, Jill jumped up to grab the Dad&#39;s attention and came down on the side of his desk and ripped the incision wide open.&nbsp; First she started to bleed from torn sutures and then fluid gushed out; it was supposed to have been there and remain inside (when anything is removed from a mammal&#39;s chest nature steps in and fills the void with fluid to compensate for the new void).&nbsp; Our wonderful vet left the dinner table to meet us at his office and retied the sutures.&nbsp; If they hold through the night everything should be fine.&nbsp; If they don&#39;t she will undergo anesthesia tomorrow to be re-evaluated (i.e. exploratory surgery) and then re-sutured inside and out.&nbsp; This great vet says, no charge.&nbsp; He is such a love.</div>
