Since the rest of the hounds are comatose and I suspect the blondeslave is hiding from me when she should be sewing I decided to pass on some Impawtent information myself. After all, I AM more than just a pwitty...well, gorgeous...fabulously flawless...Helen of Troy like Pwincess. It's been another year of hard work fundraising for the BW(well, the blondeslave and the "commoners" who live here worked hard-as it should be).<BR>

Anyway, here's the scoop and I have a tiny, almost nonexistent favor to ask. Aimee Garn left an update on Bella Basset Ballerina. There was a tiny flaw in her plan to have Valerie(the illustrator) come to her house this weekend and sign the books with her. Valerie, unfortunately, is out of town until the 28th. So, Aimee decided to do book plates after all. She is signing them this weekend and sending them to Valerie who will sign them when she gets back and forward them to the blondeslave. Aimee will send the books to the blondeslave this week so they should be here when we get back from the BW.<BR>

Now to the tiny favor. The cut off date to purchase your Woofle tickets is midnight Monday April 21st. As you know, I have been grooming young Clyde Kadiddlehopper and encouraging him in his philanthropic efforts and he seems to have a natural knack for it. Against seemingly impossible odds he sold 83 copies of Bella Basset Ballerina to help the Tri-State houndies. Now the other "commoners" who live here, Huggie Bear, Moosie Bear and wee Gracie Allen have worked very hard to sell as many Woofle tickets as possible. Well, I don't allow them to see the spreadsheets until everything is done but the amount Clyde has raised this year and the amount raised by the others isveryclose. I fear that some unnamed hounds may feel I gave Clyde an unfair advantage with my help. So, since the tallies are THISCLOSE I would ask that you search your pockets, couches, look under the car seats etc. to see if you might be able to purchase a few Woofle tickets and balance things out.
