<DIV>So after a nice quiet period, Barney had his dental and lump removal on Monday - he's doing fine and gets his sutures out the end of next week. Kahuna developed "cold tail" a couple of days ago and the thing was hanging there like a limp noodle. It's getting better, but still not fully perky. I asked the vet for "tail Viagra" but he said there was no such animal...ah well. Then poor Ace the Newf had his lip pierced by his canine tooth. I suspect it's been hung up that way for a while...I did consider putting a gold ring through it and let him be a punk newf with body piercings, but decided against it. Took him in this morning, as it's swollen and firm but finally staying free (the tooth isn't stuck through the hole anymore). The vet felt it was healing and antibiotics would just give him the runs. So, keep an eye on it and call if it gets worse or doesn't seem to be healing after a few days. (No charge for visit!) Miss Maggie tagged along, and her weight is holding steady at 124 lbs for at least a month now :-) Kahuna gets his vaccines updated next week, and his tail checked if it's not better. Then let's hope that's it for vet visits for a while! We should have our quota in...Mom is worn out and the vet is tired of hearing from me!</DIV>
