<DIV>Hey everybody,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know I am late with telling everybody what a fabu week-end I had down in Oshun City at the BoardWaddle. When I say it was pawsome..you better believe me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lets start at the beginning. The slaves packed the car on Thursday with all kinds of goodies then they loaded me and my boys, Artie and Ballzie into the BUV. Me and my Boys never rode in the car for so long all together so once the Slaves hit the highway we all decided to take a nap. When we waked up we saw Auntie Jackie and my sister Rainbow. Then the She slave was trying to put everyone's leash back on but you know me I can not wait I squeezed right out the car and started running thru the hotel grounds. Well the SheSlave was trying to run but the Boys were holding her back. Then the SheSlave started screaming for help..it is a good thing Auntie Sandy Gaston heard her and came out to
caught me. Later that night Auntie Jackie said she heard some crazy lady screaming but she just ignored her. Huh...some Auntie she turned out to be. After a nap and some dinner the Slaves took us to a pawty, there were lots of Slaves and houndies there. I got to sniff Charlie and his Slave Auntie Ilene, Abraham and his slave Auntie Shelley and I finally go to meet Auntie Sharon, she is the one who calls me Scabby Head. There was Auntie Amanda with 2007 GM Brie and even Auntie Dawn was there for awhile. Then I saw him...my brother Loki!!. Boy did I have fun playing with Loki again. After a while the Slaves said it was time for bed and that I had a busy day tomorrow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Friday morning we waked up early and went to some place called the Tabernacle for the Basset Olympics. This was fun, fun, fun. I sniffed sooo many new houndies and Slaves that I can not even begin to name them all. My
sister Rainbow won an award in the high jump. I was just getting comfortable when Uncle Bob told my Slave that it was almost time. Next thing I knows the SheSlave is all nervous, she rushes me to the BUV and makes me put on my gown. Oh it is the most beautiful dress as long as it stays on the hanger, I do not like to wear it but I had to. The whole time the SheSlave is dressing me she is whispering in my ear..Please Thelma be a good girl and do not bit the nose of that pretty lady when she bends over you..Please Thelma promise me you will not bite her nose. Hey what can I say??? I like to bite noses that get close to my mouth. Then it is time, they announce my name. The SheSlave walks me out to mid field and that pretty lady comes over and I let her put the hat on my head. The hat is very nice but like the dress I would rather it stay on the hanger. My SheSlave walks me to the top of Blueberry Hill and I am
pronounced the 2008 BoardWaddle Grand Marshall...GM Thelma Lu. Everybody was taking my picture, Thelma look over here, Thelma look here. Finally the SheSlave walks me off the field and then the HeSlave gots to walk me all thru the crowd so everyone could get a picture with me. Oh, I got a picture with Wendall!! After a little while the Basset Olympics is over and we get to go back to the hotel for a nap and some dinner. Later that night the Slaves went to the Pawction but GM Thelma Lu and her Boys were not allowed to go.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I will write more in another post.
