Houndettes do but she is also the Queen (most alpha) here.</DIV>

<DIV>I want to thank everyone for voting for our beautiful Jersey this week. She
is our first Houndette that we adopted from Carolina Basset Hound Rescue and,
because of her, we have become connected with a great group of people and
hounds. </DIV>

<DIV>Jersey was left at a shelter because her family was moving into a new house
and didn't want to put up with the mess of a dog. They were told that she would
be put to sleep that day because the shelter didn't have room and the family
said okay. I just find that mind boggling! Thank goodness the shelter works with
CBHR who promptly stepped in and rescued our beautiful girl. The rest is history
and I can promise you that Jersey will never be thrown away again. She is firmly
planted in our hearts and will always be with us.</DIV>
