The thread on rough play is really interesting as it can be difficult to judge when to intervene.

Our two rough play quite happily. It is all ears, open mouths and legs flying everywhere. Alfie even 'jumps' which is really rather strange for a basset. Millie isn't intimidated by him at all. I've found spraying water at them is about the only thing that will get them to stop. Alfie's already pulled a muscle chasing her: the vet was not at all pleased with us about that!

I have noticed just recently though that Alfie can get quite aggressive when we are walking them, and if we put him on a short lead to stop him lunging at her, he just barks, and barks and barks. He's just over 1 years old. Maybe that puts him in his grumpy teenager phase. I fear I've indulgence my first four-legger and I'm not paying the price. It's hard to get him to snap out of it. Anyone experienced anything similar?
