<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Californian FB"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>Boy ol Boy… Well, I guess the decision as to what to do about
Sophie’s bump has been made for me. Last night, she and her sister pup
were playing and alligator mouthing each other as usual, and somehow they burst
the bump! Sophie didn’t even notice it, or if she did, she surely hid it
well! She comes trotting up to tell me hello and I gasped when I saw the line
of bright red blood coming from the bump and running down her face. Being the
big wussy that I am, brave strong husband to the rescue got her all cleaned up,
examined the bump and got it sterilized (as much as possible on a basset) and
gobbed it with Neosporin. I called the vet this morning and she said that if
it had stopped bleeding (which it had) and she didn’t seem to be in pain
(which she doesn’t), I don’t notice any abnormalities and it scabs
up and goes away (which it appears to be doing) there’s no need to bring
her in. She just saw her on Monday, so I trust that it’s fresh in her
mind. I’m going to watch it closely of course, but hopefully, the bump
decided to get outta here before I kicked him out!!! Lol…<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
