<p class=MsoNormal>It’s me again – Norm!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I am not having a good day. My leg started hurting on
Sunday and I have been limping around, so Mom took me to see Dr. Melanie
today. I love (or least I used to love) Dr. Melanie. She is pretty
and snuggly. She always gives me belly rubs and tells me how handsome I
am. And she also has a puppy that is not a basset but could qualify for
the OEBE. He’s a Belgian Tu –uhh – Tv --- uhh –
crud! I can’t spell it! Anyway, he chewed up the zipper on
his soft crate and got loose at a dog show. Then he ate some bird seed
and urked all over Dr. Melanie’s bed and had that “exploding
tailpipe” stuff on her couch. And today, I found out that he got
into a cabinet and ate some soap and bleach!!!! YUCK! Dr. Melanie
was embarrassed – she had to call the vet! That is funny! But,
I am mad at Dr. Melanie today!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>When we went to see her today, she said I have Pantie-O’s.
I told her that guys don’t have panties. We have BVD’s or
boxers, but no panties! She told me no, not panties – PANO!
Then she hurt me! She squeezed my leg and I squealed! Yes –
that is the leg that hurts – duh! She said she was sorry and kissed
me, so I forgave her. Then she gave mom some medicine for me. It
tastes sweet and it makes me feel kind of funny. But then she really made
me mad! She told Mom that I had to have STRICT CRATE REST! No trips
to the Big Yard – No Playing – No Nothing! Mom says
that if I promise to lay really still on the cushion, I can watch tv with her
tonight but that I have to stay in my crate all of the time. Dr. Melanie
has sentenced me to jail for 2348205.222 nickzillion days! I tried calling
Basset 911 – but Aunt Melissa’s phone was busy. I tried
calling Aunt Bonnie – Grady told me that she is a softie – she used
to take Nick to McDonald’s when he was in the hospital. Granny Pat
was no help either!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Okay you guys! I am counting on you to figure out how
to get me out of jail. If you need Mom’s Visa card number to fund
