<P>I just wanted to send a quick update on Mandy. She has been home since Wednesday and is doing really well so far. Her bleeding seems to have slowed quite a bit and she seems to be getting back to her old normal adorable self. She actually roo'd at us today and has been rolling over for her back scratches and belly rubs all while smiling from ear to ear! We haven't seen that in 2 weeks, it was so wonderful and such a joy to see her do that! She's our Mandy again! We have a follow up visit on 6/9 to talk about next steps. They were able to get clean margins when they took the tumor out,which is good news and as I said before right now the rest of her is clear. Obviously the next step is Chemo. We aren't sure what we are going to do about that yet. She is 10+ years old and we don't want it to affect who she is and make her last months, no matter how long, miserable.
I'm really not sure what to do at this point. We are doing some holistic/natural supplements, herbs and special foods to help as well. I've gotten some fabulous advice from Sandy Gatson also, I can't thank her enough for all her help and time she spent talking to me!</P>

<P>Looks like my Mandy is on an upswing and getting back to her old self. I will keep you posted on what we decide to do. Again, anyone with any info on Chemo and Stage 3 Mast Cell Tumors, please feel free to write me anytime!! I'm open to all suggestions!</P>
