<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>And a big thank you to everyone who organized 

yesterday's BROOD ramble.  It was our first one -- the weather did NOT 

cooperate, but we had a grand time.  I was just heartbroken to see all of 

that preparation be cut short by the weather.  But the location was 

excellent and the planning was plain to see.  And the bassets needed baths 

anyway -- I can honestly say I have NEVER seen bathwater that dirty! :-)  

We'll be back for next year's!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>One of the highlights for me was getting to meet 

Charlie's Eeyore, who had been burned so badly in his house fire this 

winter.  What a sweetheart -- despite all of her scars and scabs she has 

the loveliest temperament -- a friendly wag and a kiss for everyone.  Laura
