<DIV><BR>As an owner of dogs who love the USPS letter carrier, I'm not worried about their possible biting. But, when I was in college, I worked for the PO every summer carrying mail. Dogs normally love me, but when I put on that leather mail pouch, some of the nicest dogs would go wild. Dogs are territorial, and there you are entering their territory and approaching the front door. I encountered a number of dogs who exhibited great joy in being very quiet until I reached the mailbox on the fence and then leaping up into the air while barking, scaring the crap out of me!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was only bitten once by a little dog who ran after me and bit me in the calf. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There must be a class dogs take that instructs them in hating the UPS driver, the letter carrier, the meter reader, etc.</DIV><BR><BR><div><FONT face=system color=#4040ff>Janice Henry Colvin</FONT></div> <div><FONT face=System
