Has anyone read Merle's Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog by Ted Kerasote? Merle is a yellow lab/golden retriever mix with some hound (to keep it basset related). It is a fun, easy summer read that brings up some curious questions about the intelligence and learning abilities of dogs. Of course their living situation is fairly unique. But, I thought it might raise some points for discussion.<BR>
