<div>I saw a posting on craigslist for a woman trying to place her 4 y/o male tricolor (neutered). She said she cannot provide the time and attention the dog (Chopper) deserves. My heart breaks for the dog and if I had it my way he'd be mine (along with every other homeless hound) but unfortunately I can't take another one quite yet. Anyway I emailed her and told her about rescue and recommended several Southern California rescues to consider if unable to place him with a family on her own. She replied and was really thankful for the info but said when she had tried to contact a rescue they yelled at her and made her feel so guilty about giving Chopper up. She waited and tried to make things work but just can't and has to give up the dog. </div>

<div>So....if there is anyone in the SoCal area looking for a good 4 y/o male who need a loving home, consider Chopper. I have her email address and you can also find her on San Diego's craigslist. </div>

<div>ps. I wrote back and said to try rescue again if it really came down to it. I'd hate to see this poor guy end up in the shelter/pound.</div>
