<HTML><FONT FACE=arial,helvetica><HTML><FONT COLOR="#800000" SIZE=5 PTSIZE=18 FACE="Basque" LANG="0"><B>i was trying to keep out of this, but have to add my two cents...Buddydawg weighs 51 lbs; his vet would like him to be about 50...not too much of a difference...and we live in a 55+ community...so many times when we are out for a stroll, because we do stroll along sometimes not too enthuisiastically, i am asked if he is very old, or is he so slow becausehe is so fat...i used to just smile and say nothing...i don't do that anymore...my answer is he retired and came to live in this community just like you did...and no, he is not fat, he is perfect!...there aren't too many comebacks to either comment, and usually the person just walks away with a puzzled look on his face...by the way, Bud is about 10-11 years old, a tristate rescue who lives with me for about 5-1/2 years and precious beyond words...Rene'e<BR>
