<div>Can anyone throw any light on how a 14month-old bitch who has never been in pup and who was given the "morning after" injection following her last season in May (as she went missing for 5 hours and we just don't know if she did or she didn't) could develop mastitis?</div> <div>I called round to the XH yesterday with my two and all three bassets immediately went tummy-up competing for bellyrubs.</div> <div>As I went to stroke Tessie, I noticed 3 of her dugs were inflamed, one mildly, one fairly mildly and a bit pink and one quite swollen, hot and red.</div> <div>She didn't appear to be in pain, but did seem pleased I'd noticed. Of course I told her dad to take her to the vet, but does anyone have any ideas as to how or why this can have happened?</div> <div> </div><BR><BR>Sally, slave to Rolph and Clara, step slave to Tessie, Henry and Solomon ATB<p>
