from BROOD) I always make arrangements to take them to the primary vet the
rescue uses. Brood did 115+ dogs in the past year, I would be willing to
bet 90% went through brood's primary vet ... 100 Bassets per year for
at least the past 5 years.. I'd say they've seen much more than any average

basset rescues.. find out where they take the bulk of their hounds.. and see if
you can get a second read.... if your vet is on the more "advanced" track.. they
may have your XRays already digitized, and can give them to you on a CD .. so
you could mail them to the vets if needed.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

it comes to the supposed "elbow incongruity" ... I would tell the doc, that you
want to wait a little, and that "when you mentioned it to the rescue"... the
rescue asked if they could get a copy of the XRays for their own vets ... ie
make it seem less your uncertainty and more of the rescue was worried about the
hound.. (that is... assuming she's from rescue?)</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

my 6 month basset to the vet (one we have been going to for 18 years) and had
him take xrays of Dixie. She just started to limp and we wanted to check
out what was going on. We asked him about Pano, and he was familiar with
