Hi fellow droolers - my heart is breaking. My two bassets have been missing for over 24 hours. Noone has seen, heard or anything of them. I live in a really remote area of Maine, and the houndys are run daily on a "tote" road, which is "sorta" like a woods road. We have permission from the owners. We use 3 differant ones. Both dogs are very familiar with the roads. Yesterday afternoon (6/29/08) dad slave took them for thier daily run - same time and everything. But they did not return. <br>
<br>Generally, he walks and plays the harmonica and the hounds do dog things. Generally taking about 1 to 1.5 hours - rain shine snow sleet or hail. I can barely type.<br> <br>They didn't come back. They are both really timid of strangers, especially men. Both have collars with ID. Both are spayed. Both are up to date on all shots and hearworm. I thought we were doing the right things here.<br>
